Terms
These Terms apply to your use of this website and to purchases, inquiries, and services provided by Bruce Drummond Art. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Artwork and product information
Original artwork is one of a kind unless a listing clearly states otherwise. Fine art prints may be open edition, limited edition, signed, or unsigned as stated on the product page. Dimensions, medium, paper, presentation, edition details, and included materials are described in each listing.
Artwork is photographed as accurately as possible, but color, contrast, texture, and perceived scale may vary across screens and lighting conditions. Minor variation between an online image and the delivered work is not considered damage.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown in US dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other fees are displayed at checkout or included in a written commission proposal. Payment must be successfully completed before an order is fulfilled.
Prices and availability may change without notice. A product placed in a cart is not reserved until checkout is complete and the order is accepted.
Order acceptance
An automated order confirmation acknowledges that an order was received; it does not guarantee acceptance. An order may be canceled and refunded if an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced, affected by a technical error, suspected of fraud, or cannot reasonably be fulfilled.
Shipping, delivery, returns, and damage
Processing estimates, shipping terms, delivery responsibilities, final-sale conditions, cancellation requests, and damage-reporting requirements are described on the Shipping & Returns page and form part of these Terms.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Risk associated with theft after confirmed delivery remains with the customer, although reasonable information will be provided for a carrier inquiry.
Fine art prints
Print appearance may vary slightly from the original artwork because of differences in scale, paper, ink, and the reproduction process. Print listings identify the available format and production details. Made-to-order prints cannot be canceled after production begins.
Commissions
Commission scope, price, schedule, materials, shipping, and payment stages are confirmed in writing before work begins. Unless a written proposal states otherwise, a 50% deposit reserves time and becomes non-refundable once work begins. Two focused opportunities for directional feedback are included. Requests outside the agreed brief, additional revisions, or major changes may require a revised price and timeline.
Commissioned work is artist-led and developed in Bruce Drummond’s established visual language. A commission does not guarantee an exact predetermined result. Final payment is due before the completed artwork is shipped.
Copyright and permitted use
Purchasing original artwork, a print, or a commission transfers ownership of the physical item only. Copyright and all reproduction, publication, licensing, adaptation, merchandising, and commercial-use rights remain with Bruce Drummond unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
Purchased artwork may be displayed for personal use. It may not be reproduced, sold as merchandise, used commercially, used to train an artificial-intelligence system, or presented as another person’s work without written permission.
Bruce Drummond may photograph and reproduce original and commissioned artwork for portfolios, social media, exhibitions, publications, prints, and promotion unless a separate written confidentiality or licensing agreement states otherwise.
Website content
Artwork images, writing, graphics, branding, and other original material on this website are owned by Bruce Drummond or used with permission. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, or commercially exploited without permission, except for ordinary personal sharing that credits and links to the original source.
Prohibited use
You may not interfere with the site’s operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, use the site for unlawful activity, scrape the site at disruptive scale, or misuse artwork and content in violation of these Terms.
Availability and liability
The website may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent permitted by law, Bruce Drummond Art is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be handled in an appropriate state or federal court located in New York, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.
Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated as the website, products, or services change. The version in effect when an order is placed applies to that order unless a change is required by law.
